Do we need to give same brand influenza /flu shots at 6 and 7 months? Or we can give different brands as well. I will be traveling to overseas so need to no if one can be given in india at 6 month and other in overseas at 7 month

A. yes Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity. Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required . It is not documented but shtill studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
