do not take any influenza vaccine so far... my baby is now 2 years old... does he need influenza vaccine dose 1 now? #Vaccination

A. yes he needs flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child. the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 7 years of age. previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children. flu vaccine can be started at any age.

A. In most cases, yes.Flu shots can be given to your child 6 months and older. The nasal spray vaccine can be given to people 2 through 49 years of age.
