Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Start with one solid or one semi solid meal per day initially and then increase gradually. Continue with one food item for 3 days to find out the foods the baby may be allergic to and then on the 4th day, you can start with a new food item. Give sips of water in between meals but not too much.
Initially : Rice Ka Pani or Dal Ka Pani or rice porridge with mashed carrot or any one fruit puree or stewed apple or any one vegetable puree or clear vegetable soup.
Later : After 2-3 weeks of starting solids : carrot spinach puree, stewed pear, mashed banana, ragi porridge, moong Dal khichdi, spinach pumpkin puree, etc.
