ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. For 6 mnth old baby, you can begin with foods like porridge, kheer, fruit purée, homemade cerelac. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer.
Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.
Beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time.
Continue to breastfeed.

Once ur baby completes six months then u can start with cerelac, daal ka pani, ripe banana, apple puree, raagi porridge, pumpkin puree etc. Introduce new food at the gap of three days to check for allergy from any food. U can start with one meal in a day.
