#dehydration what are the symptoms of dehydration in babies? how can we identify if my baby is dehydrated?

A. hi of child is dehydrated then he appears to be dull not active ... sunken eyes .. loss of skin elasticity ... dry lips and dry tongue ..urine output also decreases

A. Hi, check the urine count, baby should pass urine 6 to 8 times a day or more than that. If the urine count is normal then baby is getting enough feed and baby his hydrated. If the urine count is less that means baby he’s not getting enough feed and baby is dehydrated.Give bath in lukewarm water always avoid too much of hot water. After bath apply lotion do not leave the skin dry.
