Dear sir my son 2 years boy baby get high fever I put meftal p syrup yesterday 3 times but fever is not reducing when I put meftal p syrup that time fever is coming down after 3 hours fever is increasing pls give me suggestions pls help me

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of tghe wholvfe body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
