A. It is absolutely normal for exclusively breastfed babies to not poop for many days. this is bcoz breastmilk is very easy to digest and gets completely digested. As long as the baby passes urine atleast 6 times in 24 hrs and is active, you should not be concerned.

A. Hi, If your baby is gassy but not pooping, dont worry. These common symptoms are normal in babies as they learn how to feed and digest food. Your baby might be constipated. This can happen in babies older than 6 weeks who are not exclusively breastfed. You can contact your doctor immediately if your baby has constipation for longer than 5 to 7 days or if they also have other symptoms.

A. Massage With Mustard Oil – Giving your baby a massage with warm mustard oil then a warm water bath to relieve the gas problem. Massaging with mustard oil will also help the expulsion of gas from the intestine and the warm water will trigger drowsiness, thus calming him down.
