A. for proper fluent speech you need to wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and fluently if its not so then consult doctor to know if speech therapy is required.till that time keep interacting as much as possible in your spoken language and involve the child in$ language learning activities using audiovisual aids too. dont worry if other milestones are normal this will also be achieved in time at times it may get delayed..there are variations in children by age for this. . .

A. Is she able to understand directions and instructions? Can she communicate non verbally through her actions and expressions? If yes, then she might take some time to start talking. Keep talking to her about your daily activities and point at different objects or things at home or while you go out and keep telling their names. Keep asking questions and wait for her answer patiently and if she fails to respond, tell her the answer and ask her to repeat it again. Read story books together and point at different pictures and tell their names. Sing rhymes and poems along with her.
