Q.

Dear Sir/Mam, My son is on both breastfeeding and formula since birth. He is 2 months and 17 days old. But from last 5 days he is not taking formula he is totally dependent on breastfeeding. But due to his increased breastfeeding I am observing severe pain in my nipples. I want to ask that why I am having pain is there any infection or it is normal.. please suggest me some remedies too..

A. It can be due to wiring patching so make sure while feeding the baby entire nipple and most of the aerola is in mouth of baby so he can suck properly and don’t forcefully detach the baby from breast
