Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. it is advisable to continue at least one year of age but after 1 year of age it is important that the child should be kept in sunlight for at least half an hour every day and if it is not possible then it is advisable to continue vitamin d even after 1 year

Till The age of 52 weeks you should be giving it to the child after 52 weeks you can more certainly discontinue it because it is said that you should be giving it for initial 52 weeks only and if it is required to be given after that then your doctor is only going to advise you for it
