dear doctors my baby girl have fever from 11 may to till date also, she taking sumol syrup also and we observed that she not feel good as the fever sometimes again occurred and sometimes she feels happy as the fever decreases so what is the reason behind that... teething is a factor here please justify

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is newborn and she is having a fever since last 3 days so give her frequent breast feeding and then 1 ml paracetamol three times a day

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Teething can cause gum pain and fussiness in babies as the new teeth break through the gums, but one symptom it won't cause is a fever. Your baby's body temperature might climb just a little, but not enough to worry about. If your child has a fever, they probably have another illness unrelated to teething.
