dear doctor, raanvi is 16 months old ..recently had fever ..when we are giving antibiotics she is getting vomit is there any remedy for that?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.
do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period.
if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor.
avoid giving milk axnd heavy diet.
vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

You can add some honey into the medicine that you are giving because with that the medicine is going to be sweet and I think it would be easier for your child to accept the medicine that you’re giving because some medicines are very bitter in taste and get normally vomit after having them
