dear doctor, my son atharv is now 8 month old. Now a days he use to touch his private front part normally. is it normal ? pls suggest

A. hi yes , usually it is normal babies do this to explore their body parts or if they feel itching or irritation so , please check for rashses. apply thin layer of coconut oil there which help to cure itching , redness or irritation. prefer Cotton clothes for your child. avoid using diapers for now. keep that area clean. keep your child well hydrated.
