Q.
dear doctor, i was giving bluvit d3 800 iu from birth , 8 drops (app 0.25 ml) / day.. but doctor asked me to increase to 1 ml, giving since 5 days,. i found in many websites, it is not advisable. she is now having constipation. I don't know if this happened after increasing the dosage. I am worried now. is there anything to worry about.?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. ,400 iu is sufficient for the baby Babies below 6 months may not be passing stool regularly a constipation of 8 to 10 days is absolutely normal in them there is no need of any medicines

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello it is usually not a problem and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too as the baby is also small
