Q.

Dear Doctor, I am giving aptamil milk to my 2 months baby which already has all vitamins and nutrients including vitamin D. Do we need to give vit d drops separately as well. I am just worried that it does not result in excessive vit D. Dear Parents, if you are not a doctor than please do not respond as I need only expert opinion on above query.

A. Due to the same issue, I had to repost my above question again today as some other parent answered on this query yesterday advising me to contact paediatric doctor. Today, you have provided your advice, which though valuable but is not a doctor advice. So, I will post this question again tomorrow.

A. Dear Rashmi, I had requested for a response only from expert opinion. If someone responds to the query, then the doctor does not respond it anymore as it is not an unanswered query. While I do appreciate your thoughts, it is not helpful at all as I need expert advice on this subject. Thanks for your understanding.

A. Mam the doctors would be available shortly to attend you but as a mother I also know despite of giving formula milk which has all the vitamins vitamin D and multivitamin is compulsory even when the mother is giving mother recommended to give the supplements because it is not enough to meet the need of your child
