Dear doctor I am father of a 1.1 year daughter. Sir today my daughter poop twice after evening with mucous with it, normally she poop once or sometimes twice and today after that she becomes cranky. We gave her neopeptine twice, first time after lunch and second time after dinner. 1 Whether it is normal or I have to consult with pediatrician? suggest me some medicine

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 13 months old and if she is having motions twice a day with mucous so if she has a pain in her tummy then it’s mostly an amoebiasis and needs oflomac M 3 ml two times a day for five days with ORS

as your child passes stool with mucus ,it happens because of cold or cough or infection or food reaction.
so, please check for this
keep your child hydrated
offer natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk etc to your child which helps to maintain good bacteria in intestine
if condition remains same ,I mean if child passes stool with mucus then you should consult your pediatrician.
