Dear doctor, Can hernia in infants be treated without surgery?

A. she is having inguinal hernia. her doctor told that she need surgery. now she is only 3 months so please advise us is it necessary at this stage

A. Hello, your baby girl is 3 months old and if she is having a an umbilical hernia then it can be treated without surgery but some hernia like diaphragmatic hernia needs surgery only

A. only umbilical hernia can be resolved by itself or otherwise other type of hernia need surgery for more information you should consult your doctor for a proper guidance and he will decide regarding that
