Dear all, please tell me whether mugli ghutti 555 is safe and good for 1month old baby? Does it have any side effects? Although Doctors (including mine) strictly prohibit the use of any other thing except breastfeed, but nearby people are suggesting to give it daily to her- 1drop mixed with my milk. What should I do?

A. Gripe water, Janam ghutti, mugli ghutti, bonison etc are not suggested to babies at all... As it contain few ingredients which are of alcoholic nature and other things .. Which are harmful for babies... Even though the company's now claim that the side effects are taken care of.. But still then better to be safe than sorry.. Also the pediatrician now a days strictly prohibited the uses of gripe water etc.. So refrain from using it
