Q.

could I add a pinch of turmeric into the formula milk lactogen for my 10 month old baby to treat cough and cold.. is this advisable?

A. no don't do that Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steamc inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. No you cannot be adding turmeric into that so I would just advise you that you can go ahead with giving turmeric separately to the child by adding it into water or something but you cannot add anything to the formula milk
