Q.
child has cough since 2 weeks, gave coscopin two bottles over but cough not reducing. phelgm is there ,baby is swallowing phelgm whenever its coming out. what to do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives hmedicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracgetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. U Give steam to the child indirectly and also you can nebulise your child get if you feel that the problem is not solved then you’ll have to go for a further scan or maybe a course of antibiotics to settle down the congestion out of the system of the child
