Q.
child has cough since 2 weeks, gave coscopin two bottles over but cough not reducing. phelgm is there ,baby is swallowing phelgm whenever its coming out. what to do?

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives hmedicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracgetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

U Give steam to the child indirectly and also you can nebulise your child get if you feel that the problem is not solved then you’ll have to go for a further scan or maybe a course of antibiotics to settle down the congestion out of the system of the child
