Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula dmilk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.
also dod not give any food to the child except milk at this age.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Treating your baby's constipation
Give your baby a warm bath to relax their bowel. Gently massage your baby's tummy in a clockwise direction. Make firm but gentle circular motions from the belly button outwards. Lie your baby on their back and gently move their legs backwards and forwards in a 'bicycle' motion.
