can we use Vaseline for baby rashes under neck?please suggest

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. it won't help much. layers of fat on neck are prone to sweating. also the foods we feed also get stuck here which is difficult to clean. keep it clean with wet , soft cloth from time to time. avoid tight clothing around neck area. also do not wear any jewellery in baby's neck.

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children6 years agoA. Please avoid using it. Use baby products for the baby as the baby's skin is gentle and delicate. Can apply some coconut oil on the affected area or some baby powder on the affected area as this could be due to the sweat in summer or milk spilling. Put some baby powder on your hands and apply avoid sprinkling it. Wear loose cotton or linen clothes and change twice or thrice a day
