can we use Johnson baby oil for 3 month old baby

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. you can use any oil which is preferable for you. it should be free of additives and should be pure. massage mainly increases bonding between you and baby. gives comfort to baby. soothing, relaxing for both of you. helps in digestion, induces good sleep. calcium strengthens bones, not massage. so its really upto you , your time, baby's enjoyment, weather etc. no rules as such.

ExpertDr Arti SharmaPaediatrician7 years agoA. Mild, non-irritant oil free of fragrance is advisable for oil massage. Coconut , Olive or Almond oil are best examples. However, if the baby has any rash on the skin, one should not do an oil massage until and unless the doctor advises to do so.

Maitri ChaturvediMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy7 years agoA. I personally do not prefer Johnson's oil as it contains mineral oil. I use KLM virgin coconut oil and mamaearth massage oil for massage and Mamaearth hair oil.
