#AskTheExpert can we start feeding tomatoes, capsicum, cucumber in the form of smashed veg soup for 11 month baby?

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. of course. you can start in salads and veggies too. its More of a transition from basic foods to family food. use your instincts, see babys reactions, likes and feed accordingly try mummumtime , yummytummyaarthi websites, i found them useful for the recipes.

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr 2 m old boy7 years agoA. definitely you can give Ma'am....no issues at all. you can even add some chicken if you eat non veg. for a small month baby you require very small amount of soup. boil about 2-3 pieces of chicken with bone along with a carrot and potato if required.cover it with enough water and boil till it is completely cooked. after that summer it for a few minutes. add a pinch of salt. strain and give it yo the baby. you can use the chicken for a sandwich or something. at this stage i assume only the broth the sufficient for the baby.

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children7 years agoA. Yes you can vegetables soups to the baby add vegetables of your choice give seasonal vegetables to the baby. Give three meals in between snacks supplementing your bm or formula milk all seasonal fruits and vegetables
