can we put coconut oil in baby's ear before bath

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Avoid putting anything in the ears as it leads to wax formation. It is not required either. Wax on ear of a child is normal. It helps in trapping dust and other small particles. Small amount of wax in the ear should be ignored but if a large wax plug in the ear canal, then consult your paediatrician. Soft times wax softener drops are prescribed like waxsolve for few days.

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr old boy7 years agoA. No no please do not put anything into the ear at all at any age of the baby. just use the coconut oil to give a good massage to your baby and then give a good warm bath. never put any oil in the ear. never use an ear bud too to clean it.
