Can we mix cerlac with formula milk

A new born should be exclusively breastfed till 6 months of age and nothin should be given apart from breast milk not even water
But if breast milk is not enough then formula can be given
Cerelac or home made cerelac can be given post 6 months and yes u can mix them together

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Semi solids and water should be given to the baby only after completing 6 months. Till then the baby should be either exclusively breastfed or formula fed only. Both the breastmilk and formula milk will suffice the hydration and nutrition requirements of your baby. Cerelac itself has milk solubles. Need to add only hot water.
