Start by offering small amounts of solids once a day.. preffer day time to feed.
Follow three day rule.
Breastfeeding or formula feeding should continue alongside the solid foods, as they still form an essential part of the infant diet till 1 year.
Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) .
Moong Daal water, rice kangi.
Ragi porridge, rice porridge.
POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. As ragi has heating properties, feeding it daily will not be a good idea. Also, if you feed same food daily, baby will loose interest. Therefore, try to bring variety do that baby shows interest in eating with excitement. You can give lentil puree, mashed banana and boiled potato, apple or prune juice, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, hone made cerelac, etc.
