can we give jaggery to 8 month old babg

A. dear Mum, yes, you can give jaggery to your 8 months old baby. you can add little bit of jaggery to the food of your baby. however avoid giving excess sugary and sweet foods for your baby's good health.

A. Pediatricians recommend avoiding sugar for babies under 12 months of age . Jaggery can be considered an alternative but should be fed in moderation. Although jaggery isn't too sweet, its overuse might cause babies to develop a preference for sweet foods and drinks over time
