A. You can start with simple purees like carrot, potato, banana and simple waters like rice or dal water. These are easy digesting foods for baby. Then second week you can continue with other purees or combination of two fruits veggies, the third week you can give instant homemade rice cereal. Slowly you can add a veggie or fruit to the rice cereal this would give a different taste.
Followed by wheat cereal and ragi porridge. You can start giving with few spoons gradually increase upto a small bowl of 50ml. Ensure you give only one semi solid a day anytime around 11am - 3pm. Don't ever force feed baby. Solids are just additional supplement and not a replacement for milk. Ensure that your feed your baby every 3-4 hours.
