can we give flu vaccination when child is having cough and cold

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. yes flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child. the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till complextion of 7 years of age. previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children. flu vaccine can be started at any age.

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello with just cold and cough it is usually fine to get the vaccination which is absolutely safe not a problem or you can even delay the vaccination by a week and then get the vaccination once the child is all fine also and both are absolutely safe not to worry about
