A. Cow's milk should be avoided before the baby turns one year old. In case mother's milk is not sufficient, you can offer formula milk after consulting your doctor as he is the one who knows the best about the growth needs of your baby. Cow's milk has less iron content when compared to breast milk or iron fortified formula milk and iron is very much essential for a baby's growth at this age.
