Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. u by Cow's milk should be given to the baby only after completion of 1 year of age because the protein and fat in cow's milk is hard to digest before that and many a times there could be cow's milk protein allergy in babies and lactose intolerance which could be severe sometimes.
Also early introduction of cows milk can lead to iron deficiency anemia as cow's milk lacks iron and vit c . Also there could be micro bleeding in intestine because of the heavy protein fof cow's milk .To start with cow's milk should be given than gradually you can shift to buffalo milk or a packet milk which is a mixture of two .

No you should not wait for one more month you can introduce it in the age of 13 months it’s not that far also your child is just going to be 13 in a month or so so you just just go ahead with once your child completes that she and then you can introduce any kind of milk to the child
