ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Hello, yes you can give apple.. Better to avoid giving banana, curd, citrus fruit and fruit juice during cough and cold.. Give home made simple soft diet.. You can also give warm soups like Daal soup, vegetables soups. Add a pinch of turmaric in his or her feed as it has antibecterial and anti viral property. maintain hygein.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 5 m old girl7 years agoA. Better to avoid. Give healthy foods and mild at the same time. You can give oats, rice cereal, warm rasam, soups, can add little pepper and turmeric with warm milk. Also have medicines as prescribed bt your doctor for sppedy recovery
