Can we clean the baby’s tongue with soft cloth or finger??? My Dr advised me not to clean the tongue, can anyone say y bcoz i hav to explain this to my MIL & hubby

Hello ma’am Is it of using a soft cotton cloth morning when you give a bath to your child you can use silicon tongue cleaner which is easily available at a medical store and apart from that after every feed if you want yes you can use a wet soft cotton cloth no issues at all. It is recommended to keep the child’s tongue clean so that the child does not get any kind of infection foul smell or bad breath so it is very important as we clean our tongue it is important to clean it for child to so I hope this explanation is good enough for your mother-in-law and your husband
