can we apply oil to the vaginal area to heal stitches pain

Dr Rashmi SriramGuardian of a 9 yr 6 m old girl7 years agoA. Keep the area dry. Apply antibiotic cream twice daily for a week. After the stitches heal anti scar gel can be used twice daily for a months

Samidha MathurMom of 2 children7 years agoA. please do not apply any sort of oil in the vaginal area before consulting your gynecologist...because as the stitches are there so it may lead to any sort of census of infection which can be harmful for our human body therefore please consult your doctor first and then apply any sort of medications and medicated oil
