Q.

can we administer vaccine for 45days old baby with full cold and running nose.

A. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity. try to prevent temperature variations around the child you can go for indirect steam inhxalation which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold continue the regular diet of the child if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor for fever zand pain give paracetamol. anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

A. Yes during common cold and cough you can get the vaccination done there is no problem but if the congestion is heavier I would suggest you to wait for 3 to 5 more days once your child is completely alright then you can get the vaccination done there is no problem in that
