Q.

can periods be delayed if I m breastfeeding my child...?? my child is 3 months old and for the first two months I had my periods bt this month I never had...so is it okk or I should take some medicine for it??

A. do not takeself medication menstrual problem are due to hormonal irregularity and needs to be assesed in detail with tests if needed . So need to visit a gynac for a proper check up and treatment

A. Prolactin also prevents menstruation. Breast-feeding keeps these hormone levels high, so the longer you nurse, the more likely you will experience a light period, or no period at all. On the flip side, as you wean your baby off of breast milk, your periods will likely return relatively quickly.
