Can new mothers who are nursing take the COVID vaccines? As per the new guidelines - it is allowed but are there any directions on waiting few weeks vs immediate. Asking for my wife who gave birth 3 weeks ago.

A. no waiting can be given safely . Covid-19 vaccine can be safely taken by the lactating or feeding mother . And it is approved by the government of India also . For pregnant women you have to consult your gynacologist . In kids influenza vaccine is recommended as covid vaccine is still under trial .
