Can luck warm water be given to 5 months old baby as it is very hot now

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. give boiled n cooled waterstart few spoons of water after each meal. give boiled and then cooled water at normal temperature. quantity depends on weather too.60 to 100 ml per day.

Exclusively breastfeeding is recommended for baby till the baby completes six months.. you can then start solids and semi solids along with giving water.. Breast milk contains sufficient amount of water so there is no need of giving water to baby separately..
