Q.

#AskTheExpert- can I use syringe to express milk(apart from breast pump)? can we boil it for reuse,does syringe body contains any chemical which is released after boiling?

A. It will very difficult to express milk through syringe instead of that you can manually express milk if don't want to use breast pump. Do avoid using syringe and try to express milk manually dear.

A. I would suggest you to use a good quality breast pump having made of food grade plastic or either yiu xan express the milk manually by hand. I would not suggest any syringe to Express the milk.all the best

A. thanks for the response ma'am,I was asking that can syringe body be kept in boiling water and reused for expressing milk?

A. Salim should not be used for expressing out the milk second thing you can not boil the milk and give it to your baby breast milk or formula should not be boiled whenever you want to make it warm all you need is to boil water in a container and after switching off the flame put an airtight container containing the milk for 5 minutes

A. no Maam....ypu cannot use syringe to express milk. it's not possible and not feasible. no...ypu cannot boil breastmilk. if you have expressed it and kept in frudge and want yo bring it to room temperature then keep the bottle in a bowl of warm water for a couple of minutes.
