can i use nasal cleaner or aspirator for my baby.. because he is having severe cough and cold.. doctor has prescribed some drops bt also he has that cough sound in his chest.. so can i use it

Sapna HariharMom of a 4 yr 7 m old girl4 years agoA. My advice is to avoid a nasal cleaner or an aspirator at least for babies below a year. I bought one and haven't used it sense. The drops prescribed by your doctor will be the best (nasal saline drops). I used these drops for my 3 months old girl, as prescribed by doctor, it worked like magic. Now she is 4 and half months old, her nose gets cleaned automatically, when having a warm water bath.
