can i use iodex on my baby's head.... she is 8 month old

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. To ease the pain, apply ice-packs gently on the site. This will help her counter the pain and soothe the inflammation.To do it the right way, take an ice-cube and rub it over your palms. Apply the cold icy water on the affected area by gently patting on the site. Remember directly rubbing an ice-cube on your baby s skin which is already inflamed can make the experience more painful than providing any relief.

RohiniMom of a 7 yr 8 m old girl7 years agoA. hi don't use iodex.its not recommended for small babies.instead u can apply coconut oil massage and ice cube gentle massage (ice cube should be covered with cotten cloth and don't massage continuously.just do gentle massage in frequent intervals)

priyanka aroraMom of a 10 yr 8 m old boy7 years agoA. know your baby is just 8 month old and you cannot apply such strong smell products on your baby's head can you please mention why you want to apply iodex on baby's head if your baby is having chest congestion or cold then you can give indirect water steam you can apply baby Vicks VapoRub on chest

Nihita mittalMom of a 8 yr 4 m old boy7 years agoA. no medication should be given without a clinical examination you must always consult with your pediatrician for a clinical examination before giving any medication or even supplements for that matter to your baby otherwise it could be harmful for your baby than helpful
