Can I use ground nut oil for my 7months old baby? Or advice which cooking oil is best for baby?

Dr Rashmi SriramMom of a 9 yr 5 m old girl5 years agoA. Normal cooking oil can be used for baby to if you want to go for the best oil olive oil is recommended. There is definitely no Harm in cooking with normal sunflower oil

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 11 yr 1 m old girl5 years agoA. As you must have introduced solid foods in baby's diet recently, it should be semi solid which can be easily digested. You can use ground nut oil, but in very limited quantity. And if possible use olive oil as it is one of the lightest oils and has lot of health benefits. Later after couple of months, you can also use mustard oil. Always try to use little amount of oil to cook food.
