can i use baby cotton bud to clean my baby's ear?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician6 years agoA. Only outer ear. Wax on ear of a child is normal. It helps in trapping dust and other small particles. Small amount of wax in the ear should be ignored but if a large wax plug in the ear canal, then consult your paediatrician. Soft times wax softener drops are prescribed like waxsolve for few days.

Samidha MathurMom of 2 children6 years agoA. no cotton ear buds are absolutely not safe for the cleaning purpose of the years even to the adults... many ENT suggest not to use your word for the cleaning purpose.. you can use the baby ear wax cleaner which is widely available in the medical store for the same purpose
