Can I use abdominal belt for umbilical hernia? Will it give best results?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 5 years agoA. not actually and better to avoid using belt if umbilical hernia is present take adequate rest and have regular follow up with your doctor tying abdomen bandage if in wrong way may cause complications

Author of questionMom of a 5 yr 11 m old boy5 years agoA. Thank you. But my gynecologist suggest me to wear abdominal binder and do leg raising and head raising passive exercises for this umbilical hernia. So my doubt is can I wear abdominal binder as belt or I should use clothe as binder?
