can I take isabgol for constipation ....as I am a breastfeeding mother...

Vaishali TanwarMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy6 years agoA. Hi yes you can take isabgol. It is good for digestion. It helps in relieving constipation. But take dosage as per doctor instruction. Eat healthy diet. Also take good amount of liquids and fibre.

It didn't affect my milk supply. Though every body type is different so better to consult with the regular doctor you visit who knows your health condition better

Kirti ChandwalkerMom of 2 children6 years agoA. yes you can take. but it is not good to have constipation to a feeding mom. it may have gas problem in baby. keep yourself well hydrated. have a lot of water and liquids like juices, soups etc.baby will be healthy
