ExpertSHRUTI KANCHANLactation Educator and Counselor6 years agoA. It totally depends upon the dosage of medicine. Short-term usage with small doses are ok to take while breastfeeding but long term usage or higher doses passes through breastmilk. Please check with your doctor in person. Also every medicine has a breastfeeding friendly alternative do inform your medical practitioner to prescribe accordingly

Goodafternoon, if your breastfeeding you should avoid having chocolate, spices,caffeine, citrus fruits and their juices, Avoid gassy foods too like cabbage cauliflower as it will trigger baby. Ensure not to add not much oil and spice. Avoid green tea and other heat foods. Avoud cold foods
