Q.

can I take fenugreek capsules to boost breast milk supply..are they any side effects for the baby or mother..my baby is purely on breast milk 80% and formula 20% of the time..attaching picture of fenugreek capsules

A. yes it can be taken however you can simply take fenugreek added in your meals. increase your leafy green vegetables lentils beans intake Makhana jeera saunf to be taken and also you can take Ayurvedic supplement Dhootpapeshwar Shatavari Kalpa granules one and half teaspoon mixed with milk two time a day

A. Plz dont take stress. its d greatest enemy of our breastmilk. Else u ned only three items. Protein, Calcium n Water. fenugreek, zeera etc are source of calcium. Best n effective way of increasing breastmilk... Protein-Dal esp rajma, urad..., Egg,Paneer cheese Calcium- u will b fed up of different sources like shaptavari, zeera like I did. My gyn gave me calcium supplement. water- 90% of breastmilk made of water. Rest take balanced diet. Above was totally very very effective fr me. Dont take stress u will b fine. I breastfeed my child till now.But in beginning I was trying to inrease my insufficient breastmilk

A. Hi mom Yes you can take it or take lactogen tablet Take more water fruits vegetables protein rich diet to increase your milk supply Burp well after every feeding Give feeding every two hours of intervals
