ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. It is not required just massage hair with coconut oil and give bath with Luke warm water. Keep the scalp clean as the baby sweat a lot at head. So to Avoid itching keep the scalp clean. Maintain good hygiene

After massages u can take ur baby for bath Or even some mother do massage and bath in bathroom only Always remember Massage should not be more than 4-5 min Bath ur baby immediately after massages and clean dry immediately Wrap properly And let him or her to sleep if Baby wants to sleep. Sleep after bath is so important Bcz this sound sleep help to increase the weight of baby.

VinuthaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old boy7 years agoA. yes sure.. but keep baby at safe distance. it is done to prevent infections and cold for baby. use a good brand one. and massag baby with good baby oil.. leave the baby for a while..wash the baby with a soap or wash... then dry the baby well..then give dhoopam. I used j n j brand now there new j n j range called GENTLE. itz lot safer and gentler.
