simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination
if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

If your child has a fever or is very unwell, it's best to delay immunisation until they're better. Your GP or immunisation provider will let you know whether your child is well enough to have the immunisation.
